RISERS: A Roadmap for Industrial Symbiosis Standardisation for Efficient Resource Sharing kick-off meeting was held on 18-19 January 2024 and hosted by project partners CEN-CENELEC in Brussels. During two days of meetings, the consortium delved into a comprehensive discussion encompassing both the overarching project management strategy and the granular planning of the work done under each of the work packages. Collaboratively, the RISERS consortium engaged in a discussion on how to effectively set general project management procedures, ensuring alignment with overarching goals and timelines. Furthermore, on the work package level, the consortium agreed on a detailed planning of the upcoming tasks and precise allocation of responsibilities.
The kick-off meeting was also attended by the Project Officer from European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA) – Unit B.3 Industry who presented the Agency, the role of HaDEA in the whole project cycle, project implementation procedures as well as pathway how to align dissemination and communication activities with the Funding Authority.
