On October 7th, RISERS partner Ghent University will host a hybrid seminar for the official launch of RES2Go, an innovative open-source webtool developed in collaboration with DG ENER and the industrial advisory board of the ECM project PIECE. The event is organised by UGent’s Energy & Cluster Management (ECM) research group, part of the Energy Systems Lab led by Prof. Greet Van Eetvelde.
RES2Go supports industrial emission reduction by:
- Clustering energy demand
- Proposing low-carbon energy solutions
- Evaluating energy needs
- Identifying synergies across industrial processes and clusters in Europe
- Mapping efficient transition pathways toward climate neutrality
The launch will take place at iGent, UGent science park in Zwijnaarde, in the presence of industrial stakeholders and policymakers. The morning session is also open to online participants.
