In the latest RISERS podcast, Sebastian Vogel from CEN-CENELEC explains how the Roadmap for Industrial Symbiosis Standardisation developed by the project aims to address this challenge. The discussion explores how the Roadmap was developed, the cross-cutting issues such as terminology, End-of-Waste and digitalisation and sector-specific priorities including steel, batteries, textiles, biomass and waste heat, and broader system enablers such as data sharing, skills, governance and infrastructure
The roadmap is now available for public consultation. Stakeholders from industry, research, policymaking, standardisation and industrial symbiosis practice are invited to review the document and provide concrete feedback to help refine its recommendations.
